To avoid duplicate content here is a totally different paragraph...
I watched a Channel 4 documentary last night about the recent food price increase, and I was appalled to see a city financier whose company speculates on food commodities, one of the main reasons for the worldwide increase in food costs, have the nerve to say that what he was doing was a great and noble thing. He used as an excuse the story that if he drives prices up that will make people around the world invest more in farming! But what about all the third world countries and starving populations who cannot afford the food price increases, are they considered collateral damage? Sometimes it just defies belief what people will say to hide or excuse their greed.
